The Viper Hole Opener is HOC's most robust heavy duty Hole Opener, intended for the most demanding applications.
Designed on the proven patented technology of the RHO, the Viper's redesigned angles maximize cutter size in the body, increase bearing capability, and improve shirt tail protection and seals. It opens multiple hole sizes by simply changing the arms and cutter - arms and cutters are interchangeable and compatible across body sizes.

Designed to open hole sizes 17-1/2" to 54" using 5 different body sizes.
Proprietary and commercially proven retention method.
Cutters are carried on the body of the tool and retained by interchangeable arms held in position by load screws and backup lock screws.
Sealed bearing cutters with pressure compensator actuator ensure continual lubrication and are hard faced for longer life, specifically designed for the Viper.
Larger OD cutters allow for larger bearing packages, increasing weight capacity, decreasing revolution, and extending life.
Designed to cut from gauge to minimum pilot hole requirement in 1 stage.
Arms and cutters come in standard 2" increments, with non-standard sizes available on request.
Eliminates the need for consumable inventory and size-specific bodies.
Efficient hole cleaning via 6-12 jet configuration.
PDC and ADD (Advanced Drilling Design) cutters available upon request.
