Rated for subsea P&A operations – enables the casing cutter to provide a smooth cut by holding the drill string static through the roughest of seas.
The bearing assembly of the Marine Swivel allows the guide bar to be stationary while the Casing Cutter rotates, eliminating the risk of the casing being lifted or displaced during cutting operations. It is primarily used in the Gulf of Mexico for surface conductor casing abandonment.
